the keyby camelotnorthComment: Was waiting to see one of these! Nice lighting and contrast for a b/w treatment. You are cropped a little tight on the right for my taste and the subject.

Heaven communication towerby greslizzzComment: Someone just had to sneek a sunset into the communication challenge... I don't see the connection with the theme except in title which doesn't score well with this viewer. However, as far as sunsets go this one is not bad giving back a little of the penalty for challange appropriatness...

Hello? by bongoComment: This is so far the first shot to make me stop and say 'Wow'. Nicely exposed. Love the fact that yougot 5 of the seven sisters and Orions belt. Great gradiations of light in the dish itself. Only thing that detracts is the brighter area in the bottom left. Easily fixed in advanced editing. In basic editing, maybe croping that out (I know you lose part of the dish, but it may have made this a top 5 instead of top 20)...

That Lookby livingfictionComment: Not sure what you are trying to show as far as communication here. I do know that you have several unneeded elements in the shot. Lumber on the left side, board just above her heel, paint can on the right. Also the rust stains on the edge of the dock are very unatractive... Lighting/colors is/are a little flat but might be fixed by playing with levels.

Streetside Serenadeby eptasdiComment: Ever so slightly too contrasty (lack of definition in the street performers face and pants). Otherwise this is an awesome example of a b/w treatment. After the challenge PM me and I'll try and find the link to a page that shows how to 'finish' this into an awesome print quality shot!
