Brokedown Palace by cpurserComment: I very rarely go back and bump up a shot in a challenge. I did with this one because it is such a strong image (even though I thought that it was a little tenuous at meeting the challenge) that it deserved recognition!
Kudos

Ouch, no serviceable parts inside! by graphicfunkComment: My apologies on giving a very low score on what I assumed to be a faked effect. I shoulda known by the fact that it was approved by the s/c that it was legit. (Still faked IMHO but legit within the guidelines of the rules) I still wouldn't have given it a very high score cause I think it's gimicky (and I don't go too much for gimmicky shots) but it didn't deserve my (one of three) one...
Congrats on the ribbon.

Heartbrokenby TranquilComment: Nicely composed and modeled. I can feel the emotion that you are trying to portray. I like the grain in the shot. Too bad you are getting comments about how noisy it is. I don' t know why this is something that is voted down on around here. If done well it works nicely and this is a good example of it being done well.

Stop Whiningby PhilosComment: Nice shot overall. Like the composition and the use of the red in an otherwise monotone shot to draw attention. You have some wierd color banding in the background.

Neglected and Run Downby HeavyComment: Too much negative space. When I finger crop it a little off the top and right, it becomes a more potent shot!

Lights Outby Prof_FateComment: This is by far the best I've seen in this challenge to date, but it seems to me to be missing something. I can't put my finger on it. It's like I'm reading a story but an important chapter has been torn out. You know it's important, but you don't know what it is...
