Box of Toothpicksby severinComment: I really like this a lot! You put a lot of effort into the set up for it. Only thing I would change would be to make absolutely sure your toothpicks are perfect and maybe clone out the little spots in your background (two to the right of the frame catch my eye right away!) since it's a members challenge...

SAY WHEN!by NaldComment: Besides making my stomach twinge, this shot needs a bit of work. First off, your lighting is a bit unimaginative. Ya need some fill light coming from frame left. Also the drop cloth in the back is a little wrinkled if ya didn't notice. ;-) Your colors are what bother me the most though. They are very dull. Maybe play with the levels a little more to pull the color out of the image...

Shady Stairsby glad2badadComment: IMHO you have too many ellements in the shot making it look a little cluttered. I think just the two figures on the stairs and one other thing would make this a more potent entrie...

Crab in Oneby khrysComment: Very nice optical illusion of the natural sort. Is this a pet or did ya go hunging?

Dismembered handby burtctComment: Very nice! Ya got the focus spot on on the palm of the hand, but it's a little soft at the fingertips. Looks like ya wrapped the tame a little too tight though, ya can see where thing pointer and middle fingers bulge a little above it and also the thumb.

it's just part of office workby myceliumComment: This is actually a very nice image! I love the overall tonality of it including how the nail color matches the little wheel! Even the square crop works in this instance when often it looks awkward or forced. I don't see an illusion though and for that reason can not give it as high a score as I would like...

What are they building here?by johnmkComment: This would be a great shot if it wasn't such a cloudy day. As it is with such low contrast lighting, the shot is quite flat and it took me a moment to see the boat sailing through the scene. With better lighting it would most likely have popped right out as it is so much lighter than the rest of the image...

Brickhouseby messerschmittComment: The only thing I would change about this shot is turning it upside down... Makes a more potent image rotated!

Balanceby vtruanComment: Quite dark and your focus seems to be off. I don't know what camera you're using, but adding a bunch of light would probably help it focus better....

At the heart of it all...by fotodudeComment: Nice job of holding the pose for such a long exposure. Interesting cropping, but I find something here a little lacking. Can't put my finger on it, but I don't find my attention drawn to this very much...
