Too much junk... Nothing dominates as a subject or place for your eye to land...

Where the heck did you find a yellow sub? Too bad you shot this in such harsh lighting. Your overexposed a little making the yellow look unreal...

Very nice idea and decent execution. Your model appears to be a touch soft and your exposure looks a little off hence the lack of detail in his jacket hair and hat. I would have tried a jacket of different color than the holes though to give more definition or in other words so he doesn't blend into the holes.

Wow, shoot this from the sides so you can't really see the adult holding him or the busy background and this would be the bomb! I vote for a reshoot...

You took this during the middle of the day didn't you? You can tell cause the lighing is a bit harsh. The playground in the background is a BIG distraction. Your model doesn't have the best expression for the shot either. Nice idea though...

For me this is a touch underexposed. I would rather see more of the detail in the foreground. You can accomplish this with bracketing either in camera or if you shoot raw in the raw converter. You can then combine the two images to have all the cool sky detail and brighter foreground. This also suffers from not having a subject. It's nice and all, but doesn't hold a lot of attention after the initial 'wow that's nice and all'...

What an interesting looking event. Looks like a great time! Your shot here is a touch out of focus and is very busy. You may have had better luck moving around and trying to isolate 2 or 3 of the performers. It's also a very hard time of day to shoot with the lighting so strong. Too much contrast.
