The Quilterby namComment: Much better than your outtake - more tranquil and unexited. The light coming from the window is perfect. |

“The Chimney Sweeper” — William Blakeby DeniseComment: I was looking at your outtakes: you made the right choice!
The lad is adorable, I like his look and how the suspenders came down - that's not visible in the other pictures.
Although a brick wall is most suitable for a chimney sweeper I agree that it might have been less dominant. Also I don't like that his half-cropped shadow .. either the whole shaodow or completely cropped where the body starts at the bottom of the wall (sorry don't know how to describe it better)
The smiling outtake has it's charm too, but I like this one best. Well done of you and your patient model!

Fall at the Park by DCrest01Comment: This was the first picture that showed up when I started voting - and it blew me right away. Very nice composition with the bridge at the optimal position and I love the vivid colours. I guess most of the structure happened in pp - very cleverly done! |

Inspired by the impressionist paintersby SistoComment: Is this a special filter from the Topaz Lab? It can be seen quite often and I'm no big fan of it, but in this case with this mysterious scene it works perfect! 9 from me |

a haunting melodyby flahermaComment: It might be childish but it made me start the week with a broad smile. I like to be childish from time to time. Thank you (was one of you 9)
How did you do this btw? |

I was one of your 8s and I would still give an 8. But I agree with ecmguy about the blurring

Window Dressingby DennisheckmanComment: Recently I took part in a photography workshop and the teacher held foth on the participants about taking pictures with more than one level - pictures that don't reveal everything on the first sight, that take more then a moment to understand (if to understand at all)
