West County Evening, Early Springby C_Steve_GComment: I think the dark line of mountains really prevents us from seeing the treeline better, which I think would make this photo more interesting. Perhaps a lower angle could have minimized that problem? I also think the colors could pop a bit more. I like the composition/placement of the big tree though. |

Pink Daiseby mikesneadComment: Great colors, the pink/purple really pops, as does the yellow. I dig the black and white background, it's elegant and helps to emphasize the colors even more. I wish the dof were a little more inclusive, but overall nice shot. |

~ Southern Dogwood ~by Ja-9Comment: Interesting processing on this, makes it feel very antique-y. I like the smokey look to the lines in the background. I think the white balance feels a bit off, perhaps it's the antique-y look, maybe not. |

The glory of the morningby quiet_observationComment: I like this image. But the fact that it looks like you could have drawn it in MS Paint will hurt your score I bet (not a bad thing, not trying to be snooty or anything). It is at least original from anything else I've seen in the challenge. |
