La Costra Duckyby QuackersComment: I like the idea of this shot, but I think I would like it better without shallow DOF... I think the other duckies in this pic are important subjects as well as the one in the center. Or perhaps if all of them were out of focus instead of just some of them. |

Bonsaiby phloverComment: Lovely, very soft, almost looks like leaves growing out of smoke. |

flowersby crimsontearseurekaComment: Lovely colors, I like that one can see the same flower in the background, but for some reason this seems rather plain to me. All the visual interest is in the very center of the shot and the blossoms are pretty, but not extraordinary. Try jazzing it up a bit with a different angle or different framing. |

Still Cray-Cby tccComment: This reminds me of The Little Mermaid and the French chef who is trying to kill Sebastian. I like the warm tones. Perhaps trying it with the crustacean more to one side rather than in the center? |

Goatee & Mustacheby brittanymillikenComment: I think this is a great subject (snake fan). As a snake fan, seeing more of the body of the snake would be cool, I think they tend to wind in very interesting/visually appealing ways. So much of this photo is the subject out of focus that I think if you had included a little more of him (her?) it would balance out the shallow DOF better. Like the title. |

Reflected Magic Squaresby wetlandComment: My brain couldn't wrap around this until I read the title... I kept thinking, "Gee, that looks like a number 14, but somehow it's really backwards." I like this pic, it reflects how I feel about numbers in general - sometimes I really get it and sometimes it makes no sense. |

Rainy Day Hopscotch by timfythetooComment: Love this one, reminds me of when I used to play this on the playground. Great use of vibrant color over black and white, really makes it pop. Good framing and good motion shot. |

Wooden Elephantby ZerosizComment: What I like about this is that it's hard to tell how big the object actually is. It could be a miniature or it could be the size of, well, an elephant. |
