Helleborus orientalisby tnunComment: Beautiful flower. I think the shapes of the petals work really well in this, like they're playing with the white, then curving in, then jumping back out. |

Milk, it does your body goodby TrollManComment: I think if you were to include the bottom of the glass in the shot, that would be good. I like the sense of motion with this. Looks very creamy. |

Shellsby bjoernComment: This is lacking a sharpness that I think would really make that DOF breathtaking. I like the composition, the subject, the colors... I just wish that shell that is the focus were sharper. |

Blending Inby AKPhotoGalComment: Aw, what a cutie :) I like this photo, but I wish his eyes were lighter (not that there's anything you could do about that) because I think if the irises stood out more from the dark fur around his eyes it would really pop. As is, I like it. I think a little more space between his nose and the crop would be nice. |

Binkies in the Snowby dahlinComment: I love the dof and the colors here, they really pop. But I think that the full-size copy (compared to the thumbnail) isn't as polished as I expected it to be. The green pacifier is rougher/has more imperfections than I expected and I think it would be a stronger image if it were smoother. |

I bet his feet are cold !!!!!by bob_bobskiComment: I've been looking at this for a while. It definitely meets the challenge, so no problems there. The thing that I notice the most other than the subject is the darker corner in the upper right. I also think the subject isn't quite sharp enough or perhaps it is just slightly too overexposed. I can't really put my finger on it, but there is a quality in this photo that keeps it from being great, but prevents it from being bad. |

Focus on the flowerby PaulComment: This is beautiful. The yellow pops and the stem is so soft and the lighting and exposure on the petals is perfect. Great dof as well. Just lovely. |

Calmness in the Turbulanceby judojoeComment: To me, this does not meet the challenge... "Take a photo in which the background is white and the subject is predominately a lighter color." I suppose the background is white if your subject is the person's face, but all the darkness in the picture takes away from that. |

The Flightby LonzComment: I LOVE this. I love the sparse, black tips of their wings and I love the dof and I love the randomness of their placement and I love that the ones are the bottom are a little cut off - it makes me feel like this is a pattern that could go on forever. Really well done. |
