Those shoes certainly portray a person with an extroverted personality... but I think the set up doesn't showcase them well. The shadows, for one thing and the all-inclusive dof. I think that if they had been placed differently or had there been a shallower DOF there might be more of a sense of structure to the shot.

I'm trying to figure out what this says about you, since it's supposed to be a self-portrait: Are you a fireman? Are you a book-burner? Do you just enjoy this book and I'm trying to read way to much into this? Nice DOF, I like that I can still read the phrase "sexuale feminine" - nice focus control, hahaha.

Really grainy and a little overblown I think. Doesn't feel like much thought was put into composition... The road outside and the gadget in the window are distracting because they stand out a lot.

I love the purple in this, such a deep, vivid, beautiful color. Looks great against the black. Good job submitting a pic that captures a little playful personality without using your clothes.

Okay, as far as these clothes shots are concerned, I'm not a big fan of any of them. I think that there is more to you than the jeans and t-shirt you favor, and I think that if you photographed something else it might portray more personality. Even if you just took one element of this photo and focused on the technicals, I think this would portray personality better. Just a sandal with great lighting on a beach or a sidewalk, just travel books, just the camera... there are so many elements with potential here and by trying to cram them all in to one shot I think the connection between your personality and the viewer is lost.

So, if I got this right, you turn from a knife-throwing magician to an 8-year-old to a time traveller to a watch salesman to a lady? There's a lot going on in this pic and I don't think it all goes together very sensibly. Maybe that's your point?

Super simplicity. I'm not sure that I get the title, but I love the colors: the red contrasted with the creamy strings of lighter bits. I think it's from compression, but the background seems a little blotchy on my monitor.
