Crap... how am I supposed to win any challenges when I keep giving out 10s -- oh sure... they're deserved, but that's not my point... I want to WIN! OK, enough whining... This is the 3rd or 4th 10 I've passed out, and this is so far, the best of them. Your image is great -- I love the colors cast by the varous lights and a nice use of the star filter. Overall lighting is spot on. Well done -- but next time, take it easy. I want to win sometime, OK? |

I think I've seen these buildings in other photos and in at least one movie. Photo attempts to be symmetric, but fails -- needs to be cropped a little more on the right to make the edge the same as on the left -- also in looking closer, the whole thing tilts to the right. |

GREAT PHOTO, but it seems to have totally missed the challenge. OK, you can say it has multiple buildings, which is what the challenge called for, but I get no sense of Urban here. Surely there was at least a nearby village with a few people wandering the streets. |

Meets all criteria and I can't see anything technically wrong. I like the deep blue sky and white/gray clouds contrasting with the near black buildings. Overall though, I don't find the image visually appealing -- totally a personal opinion, but what part of this comment wasn't? |

Depending on your town, this could be right in the center of it -- it was in my hometown. Sepia does nothing for this photo -- I would have loved to see it with the blue sky and wispy clouds. It could use a perspective adjustment too. (Is that legal in DPC?) |

I rarely say this one: It looks over sharpened. Strange angles in the drain pipe and window just in front of it on the second story is where it is most noticable. It could use a pass through neat image to clean up the noise in the sky, but otherwise, great photo. |

Where are the buildings? Where is the sense of "Urban?" Photo is too small. Sky blown out -- or is that just fog? Good detail in what I can see. Road/path along bottom is a bit distracting. |

Had to resort to toys? The one off of challenge was just because it wasn\'t real. Technical -- fire dept. car is splotchy and a bit of soft focus all around. Perhaps this was to fool the viewer into thinking this was real? |

Nice balance between shadow and light. The bicycle really helps set the tone of this image. Perfect execution. This is a case where I wish it were in color -- I know, you have to make a choice and some are going to commend you for the B/W shot -- in this case, I'm not one of them. |
