Wow, I have the same title on my cat photo for "off screen expectation" and the same looking cat! You should go see it under my profile! I love the look in the cats eyes. The color is a bit blue, the lighting is a bit harsh, but the clarity is beautiful.

The lighting is very odd. It would be nice to not notice the lighting in this photo, as if it were all around, but I do like the shadow of the lamp.

It's so nice to see the house is not silhouetted in black or grey! Most sunset shots are backlit and the subject is faded or gone. I really love that you can see color. How'd you do it?

I have a shot very similar to this taken on my 35mm camera. www.mirdonamy.com Outside / Photos / Color / Inanimate / Misc if you want to see it. I really like these types of shots. The cropping on the top blue one is a tight, but the background is beautiful, the focus is nice, and the lighting is pretty good (though a little bright on top)

KROQ - Nice! :) I think the glare in the picture frames is a bit distracting and there's a bit too much lighting on the books and papers. Try backing up a bit and lighting with candle light or something colorful. Slow shutter on a tripod maybe even to increase saturation.
