Kermitby JoelHSmithComment: Kermit got fat and lost his shiny green! Heehee, nice shot. I like the clarity and focus. The bottom right corner is a bit distracting. The color is very nice, so is the lighting. Would also like to see less shadow. |

Green Essenceby birgirComment: Great lighting!!! I like how professional this looks. It's not the most exciting subject ever, but it's enticing. I want to eat it! I like how small it is too, glad you didn't blow it up more (though others may say otherwise). Technically, great. Interest, okay. Good job. |

Chrysalisby timboydwhiteComment: Wow, will this be a butterfly? I really love the color, water drops, composition, lighting and focus. I think the background is bit overpowering with white. Light blue or dull white (like overcast) may have been better, but hard to control of course. The webbing in the top corner takes away from the overall appeal, but is not bad. Again, the composition is beautiful!!! |

Magnolia Bloomby admart01Comment: Nice photo overall, but I would change it in the following ways: lessen the lighting it is getting, fill the background with more petals (to cover the green), show more contrast between petals with different lighting, focus a little clearer on the pink center, it's a bit out of focus. I like the feel of the photo. |

Eggs and Morning Dewby mocabelaComment: Beautiful photo. I love the DOF, the clarity, the subject. Great color, tone, feel and composition (centered works perfectly for this photo). The only thing I would change would be the lighting under the leaf... I'd add a tiny little bit to lighten the eggs. I love the square crop! |

Come Fly with Me!by ArtifactsComment: Great macro! It's always hard to decide how to crop these. I have taken hundreds of butterfly shots. I always try different crops when I go with them too. I think for this one, I'd either cut out the antenna and part of the flower and top and about an inch of the left side. Or, I'd open up the crop on the left and top to include the entire wing. Nice color, a little bright, but nice :) |

Specks and the Universe IIby zeuszenComment: Very dark, but intersting idea. I wish the photo showed some more of the horizon to help orient ourselves. I like the composition for the most part, and if you didn't want to show the horizon, you did a good job with the composing to keep it out.. I wish it were brighter though. |

Eye of the treeby crisComment: I really like the eye, but the photo is lacking sharpness and clarity. I would try to refocus the photo and shoot it a few more times. You'll get it. Try just before / at sunset too. You may get some of that yellow lighting back into the photo and less bright white. |

something MOOby isobelComment: Very nice colors! I like the feel of the photo and the angle too. I would probably move to the right a bit to put the post off center a little more though. I might also use a fill flash to light up the cow from your right just a tad. Good job. |
