The body is not in focus like the wings are. Its a bit distracting. Not that I know how to fix it, but I notice it ;). Taking pics of insects like this are hard.

Yeah, they dinged ya! Great submission. It was probably the best of the whole challenge from an artistic point of view. There's too many photo-purists around here who would never get any emotion from a photograph. All they care about are the texbook rules of photography.

Boy, I'm not sure if the others are giving you hell for post-processing or not, but I really love this picture. I love the grain and the overall simplicity. I think it gives it a very nostalgic feel for when we can all think back to our days in school.

Great job! I hope the photo-purists don't beat you up too much! We need more "artists" around here.

Great shot! I think by having the model pose that way, you get a different sense of the human form. The lighting and the curve work together nicely.
