Unmoved by Tidesby orvaratliComment: I am sure others have mentioned, but a DNMC as the topic specifically mentioned a person moving something. A shame they didn't just leave it as immovable with no description.
Ignoring that, you have a great picture here. I love the blue in the sky, and the orange in the boat, and the depiction of immovable. The dark hill to the right is a problem for me (slightly). Would have been better with a little more light on it prehaps.
Shame about the DNMC (minus marks), still giving a good mark for a good shot. |

OMG DAD HELP!!!!!by Dirt_DiverComment: Great photo and use of the overexposure. If i be picky, the hands are at different distances and his left hand casts a shaddow on his (actually, i'm guessing its his brothers) foot. |

Fadingby halopesComment: The best use of Overexposure in a non-portrait. Love the effect and the lighting here, it adds to the photo..... |

Great use of the Overexposure to enhance the photo, which is what i have been looking for. Simple photo that definitely works.

All i have is nothing.....by kristensen20Comment: Great Photo and use of the Challenge. Maybe a little bit Over-Overexposed (might have been better if it was overexposed by a little less) as it lost definition of the hands.
Other then that, the best I have seen so far |

Her songby KrisbyComment: Love the lighting effect, the overexposure works here.
However, would have preferred you to use more light, a faster shutter speed because I would have preferred her hands to have been stopped, and not blurred. |

Rose clouds before Ribsby smichenerComment: I would have included more sky. The crop cuts off the tree in the right hand side of the photo as well. There is something about the colours. It looks as though (on my screen) that the cliffs are slightly pink, which may have been when you adjusted the reds for the sky. Some extra work experimenting with the selective colour could have helped, either to further bring out the red in the sky (and sending the cliffs further pink for the evening reflective look) or to reduce pink inthe cliffs. Also, a level adjustment prehaps to give it more feel, more evening as well (slightly darken)
Oh well, my 2 cents............ |
