The idea is wonderful and the crop is pefect imo - at first it seemed too metalic a bit sharp) but after really looking at it a little longer I like the effect of the harsher lines proceeding toward the figure. I love the water and the shadow. Nice entry.

I like this photo for many reasons. Foremost - nothing looks posed. The colors are wonderful and truly capture the season. The boys are doing something together and their comraderie is easy and peaceful - you can't fake that. The dog is happy just being near them - like every dog we have ever owned. It's a nice scene and imo meets the challenge.
