Swivel mirrorby IreneMComment: very interesting. did you swing the mirror and then take the shot with the feather falling? I think it could have been neat to see a little distance between the feather and the mirror, but that's just me wondering. GREAT shot. |

Natures Mirrorby walblandComment: Very nice. My only complaint would be the color- I'd love to either see a bit more saturation to make the beak pop out, or no saturation to make it black and white (since it's almost black and white already- it may pop more without the soft color from the beak). Very nice shot though. |

Leaving the Sceneby ElaineComment: Nice shot of the autumn leaves. I think there's too much car body in this shot- although with the title, I understand why you wanted some of it in the shot. But the color of the leaves are great and I want to see more of that, but the car blocks it. I hope you took some pictures of the leaves without the mirror/car because it looks like a great scene! |

Reflection of a Cityby kellyoComment: Love it. The bend in the reflection creates a great effect that contrasts a 'normal' cityscape. Very nicely done. |

Caution, Childrenby jonfrommkComment: I think with this title, it would have been great to see some children in the mirror or somewhere in the shot... a child with a little red backpack or something. Personally, I might have taken a little bit of a tighter crop on the mirror, there's quite a bit of dead space all around the mirror that (to me) doesn't add a lot. Great idea, well exposed, and great colors though. =o) |

A Final Farewellby dtremainComment: I would love to see a picture of this taken without the mirror. (Even though I know the challenge is mirrors). Personally, I think that the mirror takes away from how breathtaking this picture can be... I know you needed to use a mirror to meet the challenge, but it looks like a great picture, well composed, with great color, with a mirror added in the end- which takes away from the image IMO.
Did you take a picture of this without the mirror? I hope so! |

Gusby cynthiannComment: 1) That is a great looking dog.
2) This is a really well captured and balanced photo. I think the framing is great, the reflection is subtle but adds quite a bit, and the way you focused on the eye is phenomenal. I've only voted on a few so far, but this is an early favorite for me! |

Reflections of Autumnby KatmystiryComment: I love the idea!!! Seeing the sky, bright vibrant colors in contrast to the fallen leaves is great. I wish the mirrored leaves were just a bit more in focus- needs a bigger depth of field. Great concept. |
