Good use of composition and lighting, nice effect. Interesting patchy background. I'm guessing that you used a Canon 10D with a 50 millimetre F 1.8 lens and extension tubes.

I really like the fill the frame effect in this picture, I also like the composition and the balance. I like the way that the lower petals point you to the lovely warm colour in the lefthand side of this picture. What I feel lets this picture down is that it is somewhat noisy, and that the very bottom righthand corner adds nothing to the picture and is just a distraction.
Nice composition. Well done.

There is a strange lined effect in the background that I am not sure that I am keen on. The lighting also does not bring out the detail (which if that was your intention that I am sorry) which I think is a bitter shame. Nice composition. Good luck.

Good composition, very good use of the branches to draw your attention towards the subject. Also very good use of nice warm lighting -- good to see that used to good effect here. A bit of a shame about the blown out highlights, I would be tempted to underexposed these sorts of pictures as shadow detail can be rescued, whereas highlights cannot. Definitely a case for shooting in raw mode if your camera supports it. Well done.Good luck.
