I feel this image has potential to be spectacular, at the moment I feel it has been overworked. I would adjust curves, contrast, sharpen (minimum), change the background to a darker color so the magnificent ones you captured on the birds chest could really stand out!

The title of this image coencides beautifuly with this challenge, in my opinion. I believe this image would score potentially higher if the majority of the detail hadn't been lost in the feathers. Aside from that I believe this is a great image, and the close crop creates a mystery, which would intrigue potential visitors,thus, promoting your zoo. 9

Not nearly ancient in my opinion, but the concept was carried out beautifully. You have created a very pleasing range of tones, which seem to add to the drama this image has. Because of the tones, and subject matter I'am picturing a battle between modernity and classical motifs. beautiful image, and nice use of a fisheye.
