beholderby yankoComment: I'd never have expected to see this at the top, but I'm glad it was. Odd, the details keep pulling me deeper into the scene. Awesome. |

Dawnby davidwComment: How was your trip? It's a wonderful place, isn't it? I got one of my higher placings from my trip there last year. Did you venture far into the dunes? That's where you really get into the moonscape, the unknown. |

Fine Feathered Friends by jagarComment: This is probably one of the most peculiar but interesting street captures I've seen. Visually, it's just really neat to see. As always, you've nailed the decisive moment, and killed it in the conversion. Your photos are easy to spot, not just by your subject matter, but by the feel and your excellence in being where you ought to be. |

Blessed Are Those Who Hunger...by lovemelvinComment: I like that you did so well with what appears to be light editing. A depiction which is troubling to the viewer doesn't place this high often, but I love when they do. Congratulations. |

Madameby ivkiComment: Excellent use of the reflection. This is just such an awesome example of being in the right place at the right time and knowing exactly what to do. Excellently done, Ivana! |

high seasonby tomeComment: No comments!? Man, that giant horsehead is so awesome for this! Great framing and composition. An odd capture, but surely much appreciated. |

The Long Walkby KarenNfldComment: A great entry, Karen, and perfect timing for our SC! Not voting, obviously, but you did a great job of 'using' the lens. Some of the other entries didn't really use a wideangle for what they're best at, so I'm assuming top marks for your shot. Great bw for minimal, as well. |

Dragon Chimeby CuttoothComment: I would've liked to have seen a little more detail in the snout and ear from processing, just so the other nostril is more prominent and the full form of the head is appreciated. In any case, I do very much like the tones of the photo. |

May 29 - Ducklings @ 500mmby hajekaComment: I like how you've filled the frame with them almost entirely. The orientation of their heads makes the shot interesting, as well, as it's somewhat of a spiral. |
