I haven't a clue what I'm looking at... a metal Christmas tree from below, perhaps? Regardless, I like it. The lines (whatever they are) radiating out from the center in the background only add to the sci-fi feeling.

Very nice, even lighting. Excellent use of DoF, and all around great portrait. It looks like your background ran out a bit top left, but that's minor.

I'm a big fan of the really light cirrus clouds and the dying light. Your entry sets itself apart from the other beach+sunset+pier shots by being given a softer touch in processing (which I like).

Not sure what to attribute it to, but there's a strange glowing about your photo that doesn't quite appeal to me.

For whatever reason, when I look at your photo I don't associate it with your choice for title. Having said that, I think this is an excellent candid.

This portrait has a good deal going for it. Nice posing, light, and background. I like the addition of snow, but wish there wasn't the one snowflake falling between the camera and her hat. It also looks like stopping down a little would have helped a bit, since her right eye has lost a bit of sharpness.

Great job composing the shot; I'm especially fond of the pathway angling to the right and then back across the frame in the opposite direction.

The overuse of Topaz has led to some noticeable noise issues in the sky. In the future, to avoid this, selectively apply your filter by masking off the sky. Alternately, you can apply noise reduction to the sky prior to applying Topaz and that should help things out as well.

I feel like the best part of this image (the details) has somewhat been obliterated. It seems the details are especially important due to your title, so I don't quite understand the approach taken. Great location for shots.

The wavy branches have a definite spooky or fairy-tale feel to them. I don't know if you accomplished this by heavy burning or selective lighting, but the end result is pretty cool.
