Not scoring based on this observation but I question something here. I see the obvious dappled light, but it is treated as a shadow here. Seems to me the dappled light here doesn't "effect" the picture - it isn't immersive enough in this case. That being said, i am voting based on everything else, beside my impressions on the treatment of dappled light by your work here. Cool title too.

Sunshine through the rippled water would probably cause dappled light under the water. We can't see that though. Looks like reflection of a hazy day on the water surface - not really the challenge to me. Otherwise - the texture of the water is the most interesting thing to me.

What a weird picture. To weird to be staged I would think. Right foot and Left ankle seem blown out to me. I suppose this is why exposure is tricky with this kind of lighting situation.
