Rusty Stationary Trainby JeniYComment: Great shot. It looks like it could pull up next to the "Quaint Rail Station" in this challenge. They have similar very stormy weather color balance and cloud formations. |

Hilarity Is Justified!!by JudiComment: Amazing color. I really don't know how folks get that much color in a shot. It is wonderful in this instance. Is hilarity justified? We can only guess, or take the title's word for it. ;-) |

Our Power Questionedby CorySmithComment: I understand this. I get the question. I hope that it is universally understood, but I doubt it. I expect many would see this shot as an advertizement for high powered, large displacement, sporty cars. This is a very powerful image and a powerful question, but I am not sure the image and question are obviously linked. ... that is just one man's opinion.
I really like how you caught the reflection of the headlights and the contrast between the sky and car in both color and intensity is great.
I really like this image. |

Another Battlefield Countryscapeby glad2badadComment: Great shot. The dark sky really brings a foreboding feeling. Very good title. I would like to see it in sepia tone. I think that might lend it a real 1865 feel.
The shot could have been a little underexposed as the texture of the top of fence braces gets lost, but that is a real nit.
Wonderful shot. |

keyboard.jpgby polarbearjenComment: I see you had the same problem with your keyboard that I had with mine. They do collect stuff. Great focus up so close. Did you use a macro lens, extention tubes, or front close-up lens, crop from larger shot? Was this the color of the keys? I never saw brown keys before.
At any rate, and with which ever method, great job! |

2485297226_2df76e024a_o.jpgby GordonComment: Lovely shot. Great framing and lighting. I might have preferred to see the top of the pillars, although the door makes a very nice frame alone. The color choices are great and the model is Lovely model. I like her slight rotation away from the camera. All in all, a wonderful shot. |

Quaint Rail Stationby kleskiComment: Interesting shot. Quaint? yes. Rail Station? yes, well, perhaps, at least it was a rail station; coffee shop now? So, I certainly deem the title and photo meet the challenge.
I find the colors very interesting. It reminds me of the odd colors found in the sky while tornadoes are near. The clouds also look familiar, but they don't look real. Were they added? |

Cliché DPChallenge Entryby freakin_hilariousComment: Very interesting shot. I love the colors, very smooth. Regarding matching the challenge. Is DPChallenge a word? Hum... I am not sure.
You might have tried to keep the defocused portions of the picture to either the front or the back or, if both, further from the sharp water drop. Clearly, the water drop is important to be in focus, so I believe I might have brought closer to the foreground. |

Highly Intoxicating Jamby LadyKComment: This gave me a big smile. Where does one go to get said "Special" Raspberry Jam. ;-) Nice idea.
Warning: the "Warning" is out of focus. I might suggest a larger F stop to give you a bit more depth of field. Next time, you might pick a new jar unless you are suggesting that Ohlson's is just too good for a jar to stay new.
Nice job. |
