Beehiveby Rino63Comment: Great shot, but I feel it describes the city, not the suburbs. |

On the Edgeby BarbBComment: I like this shot. It must have been taken with a very short lens. |

auto white balance 2by Shadowi6Comment: I sure would like to see some context for these three white balance shots. e.g., what did the expirment tell you and what were between the three "auto" white balances.
All in all, I like the shot, pretty subject with nice framing, great DOF. I like this sky exposure best of the three because there is some color, however, the model is a bit under exposed for my taste.
I hope you will add some comments to your shots and relieve my curiousity about the nature of this experiment.
BTW, I looked briefly at your portfolio. Very nice work! |

Candace 2by TCGuruComment: Lovely... very pretty girl, great outfit and pose, astonding addition to the "fabric" of the background. You have indeed made her a princess. |

1918 portraitby LelezComment: I love old photos as well. This is wonderful.
There are some areas that appear to be blown out. Were they in the original photo?
One of my photo hobbies is to colorize these old photos. It is great fun and as you are already have Photoshop, you might enjoy giving it a try.
In any case, thanks for sharing. |

IMG_6486by ryandComment: Great shot... Wonderful lighting and intriguing pose. It makes me wonder if she isn't perhaps planning her next prize winning chess move. I like the shallow DOF, but still keeping the models face sharp. Very pretty model with real skin. Perfect, I just love it. One of my favorites. |

Kassieby rexComment: Hi James,
I stumbled across this image when I went to browse you site after finding the Meridith photos. I really like this one much better than the ones that brought me here. The near nudes are nice as well, but for my taste this is much more interesting. Great work all around. |

Plunge by lovethelightComment: Awesome shot realized from an challenging concept. You deserved the scores you got; at a minimum.
I don't really understand the setup you described. Any chances you took a photo of that? I would love to see it.
In any case, superb work. |
