Corridorby ergoComment: I gave this a 9, I love the shot. The zoom, the bright light at the end, and the person standing there work great. |

Never Forgetby khdossComment: I'm giving this a 10, even though I think one improvement would be good (although it may be a result of an impossibility or image size). If the words were just a little more face on to the viewer so as not to strain to try to read the "We will never foget" would just make this image pop. As it is, I do think it is a fantastic shot of the WW2 memorial. Best I've seen of the DC pics. |

Lost by heidaComment: If this isn't a Heida shot, someone has copied her style exactly. |

Road to Nowhereby aboutimageComment: From the thumbnails, this one just pulled me in. Great contrasts, good composition. Only problem I have, and it may be just the size, is that very little seems very sharp (except the clouds in the background). The stripe in the road and the shrubs on the hill don't seem to have that pop of real sharpness. This may simply be because of the compression of the photo. Anyway, if it is sharp in full size, this is a winner. |

peering.jpgby bvoiComment: YES, definitely the best picture of the group..... There's a story here, what's the story... What's he looking around the corner for? Why the little grin on his face? Those are the things that make the picture change from a snapshot to a photo... Great capture on this one. |

If Only.......by singsunshineComment: I've thought about this, and if it did, it would still be a matter of how long it would take to grow it, then the rent of the guards to protect it, then the cost of fertilizers, etc.... Most bushes don't grow this big in a year, but let us just imagine that they do... I see in your photo... oh... about $25 now if it took a year to grow that $25, why just think, in only 320 years or so, you'd have enough for that big Canon EOS 1DS-Mark II... :-) Seriously though great idea, good implementation. A little better lighting to really set off the money, instead of the dark hole in the middle of the picture that sort of swallows the idea would really help. 5 |

First Breathby mexicoComment: Dragon's definitely fantasy, I'm guessing an incense burner. The smoke does add a touch of realism, but hard to get past the figurine-y (don't think that's a word, but I hope you understand) feel of the picture. I think you have done as much as you could with this subject. 5 |
