Our Woodyby JimD1Comment: Gorgeous bird! Would love to see him in action...pecking the wood, building a nest, interacting with his enviroment. |

Franky, VeeDub Restorerby h2Comment: This one was difficult for me. I really like that he is working. Doing what he does, in his environment. The concentration in his face is great. My problem is a subset of the fact that he is working, which is sort of the point of this challenge, imo. The fact that his hands and arms show movement right up in the foreground is sort of like seeing two different shots combined into one. The big question, do I discount what you've done because what you've done is follow the challenge? Tough, huh?! Now you see my problem... |

The Contrast.by thedarkposeComment: This is stunning on many levels. Not the least being the facial expressions of both of your subjects. Thank you. |

Lunch at a Wifi Hotspotby BAMartinComment: You know, this one took me awhile. Without the benefit of the title, I would assume that this was a bento ad. The focus is on the bowl of food, which is great if this were a bento ad. But in an environmental portrait, the food is not the best subject. The environment does not define the food and the food is not interacting with the environment. This is a WiFi spot, but you only show about 3 inches of the computer keyboard. The girl is obviously intrested in something and is on a lunch/dinner break, but since she is out of the dof I find it frustrating to view this shot in this challenge. |

Broadcastingby thomasroedComment: The angle matches the frantic yell of your subject. You've communicated his frustration with the way you presented this shot. |

Soarby matrix_morpheusComment: How did you get a perfectly black background on this? If it were night, then we wouldn't see the airplane. |
