Nov 03 - Ducksby hajekaComment: Actually, he is looking at you. If he were to turn his head and point it at you he wouldn't be able to see you completely because of monocular vision. Their view is very wide because their eyes are flat and not oval, like ours. They can see almost everything in focus, near or far, just like a wide angle lens. Swallowby liangdaweiComment: Can't really see panning in action here. Looks like the birdie is frozen in time.
Cool shot though. |

IMG_4167.JPGby vawendyComment: Great technique for getting that white bg. I thought at first that the birdies wouldn't want to get close to it but it seems I was wrong. I'll remember this. |

- FLIGHT of the HUNTER - by andrewtComment: Holy cow! What a shot. Would love to see a 16x20 of this just so I could see his/her eyes in more detail.

Orangina -- Naturally Juicy!by vawendyComment: Lighting is too harsh and the bottle looks tilted. Did you use a diffuser to soften the lighting? Anything will do like tracing paper, thin white cloth or even paper towels. Use tape or a rubber band to fasten it to your strobe and bingo, instant soft lighting. :)
6 for effort and creativity. |
