Everything is in focus, a big nono in food photography. You need to concentrate on the item being presented. My eyes are trying to find a spot to settle on but they can't which makes this photo confusing.

Maybe participating in a photographic site isn't your thing. You need to understand that personal moments that you enjoy immensely do not translate to great photos.
