Houses Of The Holy by pawdrixComment: The color and lighting is great on the buildings. Really like the tone. The person is a little dark and doesn't stand out enough against the building background. Also don't care for the way the person is past the halfway point and appears to be walking out of the photo. |

Dazed and Confusedby jprezantComment: Nice concept. I like the capture of the smoke. The DOF works well. Would like to see a the guy be a little better lit and so much in shadow. |

In My Time Of Dyingby juliejoldComment: One of the better tombstone shots in the challenge. Nice lighting/contrast, and B/W works well here. The crop is seems a little tight would like a little more space above the tombstone. |

Hush Little Baby by whiteroomComment: The DOF is nice although the background is very busy. I'm having a hard time with the scale on the photo. At first I thought this was a real size trike but then I look at the ground at it looks like bricks so then I'm thinking it's a miniature. |

Rock and Rollby Wenders11Comment: Nice color and DOF. Technically it's a nice photo but emotionally it doesn't do anything for me. Makes me think more of an ad for Guitar Center. |

Down By The Seasideby timfythetooComment: This is a very busy photo. The kid is the obvious subject but then my eyes dart around the birds as well thinking they might be the subject. My eyes then dart to the seaweed on the beach and I follow the line of seaweed back to the boy starting the whole process again. I'm thinking a little tighter crop might fix some the of that, perhaps eliminating the seaweed and perhaps even some of the foreground birds. |

Stairway to heavenby geoComment: I like the idea. I did not initially like the light coming from the top of the stairs but it grew on me. I don't like the shadow along the right edge, it's a little to hard. |

In Through the Out Doorby RulerZigzagComment: Cute goats. Whenever I look at this photo my eye goes to the foreground goat. Then to the other goat and then back to the 1st. It wasn't until I read the title that I noticed the door in the silo, and it wasn't until much later that I noticed the barn door. The goats are the subject not the doors. |
