I really like this idea! I feel like red background may not have been the best choice, perhaps a color the contrasted the color of the apple? The lighting also feels a little flat.

I like your use of selective desaturation here. I wish the cake had less things cluttered around it on the table so I would be seen easier.

Interesting concept. It's pretty amuzing. The shower curtain on the side could probably have been cropped out and I feel like the lighting is a little mundane but I always appreciate a photograph with a sense of humor.
