This was another one of my top picks and would loved to have seen it place higher. I love the pp'ing. Like another heron pic on here recently, it has that Audubon quality about it that I think is fantastic. Ribbon - no, but a definite piece that I would love to adorn my wall!

I was hoping that this one had placed higher. I have it a 10 and although I am not a gator fan, I couldn't help but like it. And the shots of all the eyes in the dark! That's incredible and awesome all at once. You'd never get me out there, but I love looking at what you captured.

Congratulations on a well deserved ribbon. I know that I don't always see what other see in photos, but this was a standout and what I can't figure out is why/how someone could give this a 2... really? Someone who really doesn't care for this type of processing or just a hater/poor sport? Boggles my mind, but i suppose we are each entitled to score how we see fit. 10 from me.

This one has a really nice quality about it. I gave it an 8 and thought it would have scored much higher than it did. I wonder if you had cropped it just below the roof line, leaving just the wire, bird and stripes, if that would have made it a stronger image with the theme...??
