It seems like the light areas of this photo are a bit overexposed...I want to see more of the building on the left, in terms of detail, or less in terms of cropping, though that would also cut out the less over-exposed upper left.... The building in the center is definitely striking and interesting, as are the ones in shadow to the right - the details there interest me the most of any part of the photo.

Urban Sky

I like the unusual angle on this, as well as the clouds' reflection in the building at left (and, to a lesser degree, seen through or against the other buildings). The lack of vivid color except in the sky also helps draw it together, to my eye.

Industrialization

I like the choice to go black and white here, given how busy the foreground is; the eyes have nowhere to rest, and I suspect color would only have emphasized that.

The Coast

It's a pretty coast, but...I odn't see any sign of a city, town, or even a small cluster of outbuildings. Is there a city out in the fog, or just behind? In any case...I can't tie this to the challenge at all.

Beyond the River

Portland, yes? I'd like to see the shop a little crisper, but I know it's hard to do with the cloudy weather giving such soft light, even if it's otherwise glorious weather. :)

I really like this one - black and white works well, and the image is very crisp. The left wing seems to have a few artifacts (around the upper feathers), and it is a pity the right wing extends out of the shot, but all in all this is lovely.

Lovely image - very crisp focus. The lines are just great; the background's a little distracting, but I doubt the bird was amenable to being asked to fly somewhere else....

That is a really disturbing image. My eyes tell me that you must have had an incredible bit of timing to get that just so, but I am wondering if there's a model involved in this somewhere, even though it doesn't look like it....

I love the title - these two are so funny-looking as they come in to land, the humor suits them perfectly. I really like the capture; the water seems to have some noise, but the birds don\'t (that I can see); not sure why.
