Baby Kookaburraby sherpetComment: A fur ball with eyes and beak. Nice composition, good colors and contrast. A little soft in the focus as I can't really make out a lot of detail in the feathers but better than many I've seen today. Nice work. |

Mating Callby trnqltyComment: A bit soft. Very nice colors. Maybe too much background and that allows the background to dominate the photo. I think landscape would have worked better than portrait here. |

Coming in to landby SaraRComment: Good composition on this two point landing. cantrast and colors look right, a little hot on the top side burning out detail in the feathers and a little soft. A fill flash would have added a catchlight in the eyes and really helped this shot. Otherwise very nice. |

Flying Duckby laserComment: Nice shot over-all. Not quite crisp around the edges even though the focus looks clear. Colors and saturation are good, composition good. Not sure why it's not crisp? Perhaps too much of a crop? I'm no expert here, but something makes it soft? |

Is That Food Down There?by HeiSchComment: The best flight shot I've seen so far. It would be better if the bird were a little higher and had even background behind it ( the wing dips into the dark area) by shooting from a lower viewpoint that could have been acheived. Also the eye has no catchlight which is very important in nature shots. Otherwise a really nice shot. |

Parrot Passionby classycamComment: The bird is very soft and not focused well. Colors and contrast ok. Composition ok but really not all that interesting. The bird almost looks afraid and not all that happy with the situation. |

Check this . . . by Bruce_the_RobertComment: Well, bottoms up. Nice catch. Good colors and contrast and not over-saturated. Focus is good. Catchlight in the eyes is missing, this can be done with fill flash and that would have helped ballance the light with this shot. As it is the whites are a bit blown out. |

Blue-throated Macawby androgeusComment: Nice close-up/portrait shot. good colors and contrast and something most other bird shots are missing and that is a nice catchlight in the eye.Focus is good on the eye right whee it nees to be. The best I've seen so far, but also the first domesticated shot I've seen. |

You must be Quackersby TacTZillaComment: Goos action shot on this duck. Contrast is a little too high as it blows out detail in the whites, but otherwise a good shot with nice saturation, composition and colors. |

What are YOU looking at !by David NewlandComment: decent shot of a moving bird. Focus is acceptable, dof OK, colors and contrast ok. But the tree really draws the eye off to the left. A more even background, eiother all tree or all sky would have improved this otherwise nice shot. |
