very well seen, strong graphic elements in this image with great leading lines drawing the eye to the center. nice job.

great infrared shot. dramtic tree and dramatic sky. I like the small figure of the golfer providing scale. only problem is the horizon seems tilted to me.

her polka dot dress is a nice visual complement to the bubbles she is blowing. I like the toning of the image and her expression as she intently watches the bubbles waft away.

night photography is so interesting to me. simple point sources of light can create such drama. I like this scene overall because it sets an interesting mood - even though I know that this was part of a "night glow" type of ballooning event, it seems like the main subjects are about to embark on a clandestine adventure. I think this feeling could have been enhanced even more had you been closer to them and filled the frame with their actions. The silouetted balloons in the background, while providing context, are too featureless to add much to the story.

I like many of the elements in this shot - the wisps of fog with the trees showng through, the path in the foreground and the colors of the morning sky. The framing seems odd to me though - I think you gave too much room to the sky at the expense of the foreground features. A square crop is interesting and can work well sometimes, but here it is distracting and actually works against the shot. It looked more like a portrait aspect ratio to me and I had to actually check the image properties to see thyat it was, in fact, square.

very clever and original idea. I like the black and white treatment. Excellent attention to detail, expecially with the blood or sweat spraying from the face of the shadow. The one thing that bothers me is the bottom of the boxer. Her shirt and pants blend together somewhat formlessly, creating a dark featureless area in the frame. I wish the line of the bottom of her shirt was more visible or the stripe on her pants legs more pronounced. All in all a wonderful idea well executed!

wonderful lighting on the fur. a great momenet captured between mom and baby. the overall lighting looks very dark to me, however, hiding many details that may have been evident in the shot.

beautifully toned. great pose and a simple and sweet message. I love many of the small details - the paint on her arm, her bandana, the wall textures, the painted handprints. I give it a 10 even though I find her feet posed awkwardly.

I have found doing food photography to be very difficult, so I am always impressed by people who can do it successfully. I think you have done this here with the pastry looking very appetizing. Your presentation, using not other distracting elemnts lets me focus on the subject with the berry being the predominant visual draw. The hot spot that forms a ring around the seed on the left side of the berry is one small distraction. I like the use of shallow DOF here. nicely done.
