Stunning take on this bird. Sharp, well exposed and nothing distracting in this. Love the line of branche and bird angle and face - glint in eye. All just good as a clynical, surgic shot. Some might complain that all looks to unnatural but fine for me. 9

Great shot. I tried to capture something simeler the day before (not nearly as good)but was not happy with my takes on the rose and rather declined on entering. On opening of challenge browsing through the pics my eye caught this and knew this was the one I was looking for...and it would end up on the front page (yea right :)) Congrats on a super image well presented and amazing how such a simple pic can evoke so much emotions with the lines in it. You have an eye!

I need to understand the thinking behind this pic. Im going to vote this 4 simply because the huge black part at botom. Im sorry I dont get this. The processing is not a problem and actually like the B&W with twigs coming from this black but it needs to be narrower - use less space

Super shot. If looks could kill. Was recently at rehab centre where they have many of these. Awesome bird and king of the sky. Well doen on this take and portrait. pity about background a little dark making the bird blend a bit to much into this on the blacks.
