Mongol by kris11Comment: Kris. Your work (photographic and your project) is inspiring and humbling. Going through your Mongolian portfolio is inspirational as far as getting people involved in helping destitute people such as these. Your photography can play a pivotal role in bringing the need of these people to the rest of the world.
Thanks for sharing and our prayers are with you. |

Hide and Seekby mohanrComment: One of the most underrated shots in this challenge. A shame. Even Nick himself selected this as one of his favourites. Great take |

Prideby RetroesqueComment: Great shot. Def Nixter style. Crop a bit tight on the person in the wheelchair (head) but a small nit from me...
Extra note on this one..Second thought..The crop on the person in the weelchair actually works..It confines his space, limits him as is the wheelchair is the boundry of his life. Moving this from 7 to 9. |

grass is green, life is goodby fridjoComment: But it's not mowed... I like this scene. Def a moment captured for generations to come to think back on when life was simple and good. |

The Benchby grahamgatorComment: Man you needed somebody on that bench..like seriously. Like this very much but it really would have had just that bit extra for me...and maybe even Nick..lol I think the human element is prominent in most of his work. Just a shadow or hint of somebody there. |

Freezeby Silent-ShooterComment: You are very creative in your ideas for challenges..even radical at times :) LOL at your wife. Can even see this happening in front of me. My kids would have had a ball doing this to me..no sorry's from them. It's just the rounding off that lacks a bit.
1) green cast on the fluid - small nit Some PS could maybe have corrected this?
2) Skin tone/lighting on you
3) placing of "water" on you. Something you dont have control over and luck plays a major part in this
These are my nits and Im being hyper critical. I could never have done this better even if I tried. In all honesty I would have been out of frame every time...ducking. You truly are a sucker..lol Message edited by author 2010-09-01 02:34:38. |
