Animal Alphaby tkjaerComment: Who is this woman who seems so popular in this challenge? She looks like a blast to photograph. Although this is an amusing moment, I feel the other photo got her better with her jaunty hat and attitude. |

Jamminby kjenningsComment: Wow, beautiful finish on this PRS, which contrasts nicely with the green in the background. Well done for getting this so sharp with a very effective motion blur in the arm. I like! |

Beautiful Dayby shotComment: Great expression, I just wish something was in focus. Face is uncomfortably close to the top of the frame for my taste. |

Plugged Inby johnnyComment: Doesn't communicate live music to me, just a photo of a bass against a not particularly appealing background. |

Harmonica Manby ceyvalComment: I like the motion blur on his left hand. Not a fan of the centred composition. Nothing's quite sharp enough, and it could have done with some curves adjusments in PS. |

Alone with my musicby morpurgoComment: The fact that he's centred in the shot makes this feel like a snapshot. What about rule of thirds? Someone taking a photo behind him really lets this down. I'm not really sure what you were trying to achieve here. |

Groovin' by the oceanby saintaugustComment: What a great opportunity, but the composition just doesn't work for me here. You've chopped her feet off! Did it not work well in colour? What about a portrait orientated shot with the drums at the edge of the frame, with loads of sky? |

Eastern Twilightby aznymComment: Great expression, but let down by the fact that I can't see his right hand. Being a violinist, you should wait until the end of the upbow, when his right hand will appear just under his chin. The violin neck obscuring the eyes/face of the performer behind is also a no-no. I love the expression on the face of the woman to the left of the shot, I'd have made more of this. |

Intenseby LadeeMComment: Not usually a good idea to chop hands in half when photographing musicians. A square crop discarding the entire right portion of your shot would be much stronger, and would highlight the emotive nature of this performance. |
