NICE crisp shot! I've shot frogs, and I know how tough it can be to get them to cooperate. Only the straightforward, almost journalistic style of composition keeps this a 9 from me instead of a 10 - if it had seemed more 'arty,' as it were, if there were an emotional tone or a visceral reaction given (rather than just \"Oh, wow, what an outstanding photo of a bullfrog!"), I would have tenned it. Still, well done!

Lovely macro; good choice to have the entire flower sharp and the background fuzzed. Looks like something from a seed catalog, almost - advertising the plant or breed.

Love it. If it were a little bigger (and therefore a little more detailed), it might have been a 9 or 10 for me; as it is, 8. :->

A nice green picture, and so it first the topic of the challenge, but the composition is squarely 'snapshot.' A different crop, probably centering (interest-wise, not necessarily geometrically) on the right-hand horse, might have gotten a 9 or 10 from me.

This has almost a snapshot feel, probably a combination of the lighting and the focus (which is either odd, or sharpened strangely in postproduction). The composition's also a little mushy - the eye isn't drawn to any one particular place, and so it wanders around to no purpose, as it were. Still, fits the theme well (nice colors).

Yes, it's 'derivative' of earlier images, but it's still a lovely execution of the 'looking through water drops' trope, and it includes a legitimate secondary color, so I'm grading it highly. :-> If the things refracted in the droplets were more appealing/interestingly composed, it might have gotten a 10 from me, in fact, given the technical skill displayed, but they aren't, so 8.

Love the sharp focus on the flower, soft focus on the ferns in the background. Luminous color.

The pixelation and bizarre stretch to the proportions bother me, and distract from what otherwise might be a very nice picture, making the girl look deformed.
