Very effective silence subject. I wish the focal plane were further forward to sharpen the detail of the front. As it is I find myself looking at the far sides where it is sharpest.

Very cool idea. I don't like the wall texture as it detracts from the illusion of the ellipsis coming from the subject. Other than that I like the composition and creativity.

Definitely silence. I like the accent of curves & lines with the lighting. The bottom of the lobe seems a bit blown out, but it's still very effective.

This is my favorite concept using the taped mouth motif, particularly since you cut off incoming sound for your subject too. The negative space really underscores the silence.

This is a very intriguing photo on it's own and the title adds to that sense very well. The orientation feels odd to me as though the petals are falling up as the flower dies. I hope you'll share some of the concept behind the way you composed it this way. It certainly conveys a sense of silence to me and is among my favorites so far.
