Man & Dogby whatdewucComment: I'm ranking this high, right up there with more clearly defined images. This echoes a style of abstract painting later than the impressionists, with a subtle oriental feeling tossed in for interest. I don't get the title, but I like the image. |

Thirstyby LiamD2005Comment: I once got a similar set of circles and curved shapes by shooting directly down the mount of a plastic water bottle. Nice lighting for most of the image. Having the center circle darker would have been interesting, although potentially very difficult to achieve (depending on what you had to work with). |

Metallic Solar Systemby kevip6Comment: Good choice for title, as it leads the imagination along the abstract path. Having a lot of the background blurred works well because so many of the foreground spheres are sharp. |

Branching Outby ErikVComment: Nice tones, shapes, shading, even if not especially abstract. 6. |

Tribute to IreneMby RingostarrComment: Nice tribute. To help it be more abstract, I would consider eliminating the horizontal white element across the bottom. |

Beginningsby ryandComment: I get a feeling that this would be more fun to watch mmoving and evolving in a video version instead of as a static piece. Must have been fun to see as you were capturing the image. |

Stripes #7by kellyoComment: Nice but less abstract feeling than ideal. The current version is a good detail study of a zebra. The abstract pattern aspect might feel stronger if the original would allow for rotation and then eliminating most of the backlit fringe area, although at the expense of making it less pretty to some eyes. |
