Curvesby freakin_hilariousComment: Whether vases or elongated light bulbs, the pattern of curves agains a dark background works well. The reflection in the white object on the left has soft dark lines suggestive of umbrella staves. The circular light source goes well with curves, the staves could be taken for window dividing elements, so the distraction isn't excessive. |

vortexby scotthadlComment: The implied motion and repeated forms give this a pleasing dynamic. Nice depth of field for this degree of magnification. |

Searching the shapeby TymsComment: Something about this, maybe the symmetry and the pattern of contrasting tones, makes me give this a higher score than many of the other blurred entries. This feels full of motion, and tickles the imagination. |

Trestleby SDWComment: Nice set of repeating rectanglar shapes, and the trestle seems to do well with your choice of B&W conversion. A little tighter crop, all sides but in particular removing the bright gravel (?) from the bottom of the picture might make the image more obviously abstract. |

Black Holeby thierr26Comment: Probably is more attractive in color, espeically if this is a flower as it appears on careful examination. Although hesitant to be so implite as to actually say so, I fear that the black and white image (particularly with "hole" in the title) first looks like a lot of hair around a body opening. |

Heatby cabaComment: Swirling turmoil of pasta (?) pretending to be flames. Very well done. |

Felis Catus Abstractusby NuzzerComment: The sharp bright curves in the lower left contrast with the furry blur elsewhere. A different title might have left more room for the viewer's imagination to work (folded angle wing, passing show girl in costume?) instead of landing on the concept of "cat" right away. |

Vocalists weapon of choiceby stphqComment: This would seem more abstract without the stand and cord as part of the image. Good macro and well composed portriat of a microphone. |
