Straddle Jump on beamby tjbel05Comment: Nice capture of the crucial moment. LIghting details would be interesting to learn, as these meets are often difficult to capture well. The lower part of the image is a bit busy. Scrolling makes me think a crop through the beam might help by eliminating the skin tones of the hands and legs of the others without completely removing the context. |

illuminatusby AliciaComment: Light underneath is an excellent idea, taking this into the realm of science fiction transportation. The foreground begins to lose texture - might enhance the subject to crop away a bit of foreground, maybe enough to also eliminate the yellowish spot near the edge on our right. |

Eagles Glareby karenkComment: Just when I think I've oversaturated on eagle images, along comes this one done too well to ignore. Pose is out of the ordinary and technicals very good. |

Curiosityby got2bgutsyComment: Cute expression and nice choice of framing. I wish the distribution of light would have not so much more brightness on the background compared to the subject. |

Corrie Moby toddheadComment: Professional work here. Could be an ad for a brand of beauty products (probably not needed by this model). Hair makes a nice frame while (thank you) not obscuring her eye. I would consider including a little less of her neck, maybe croppoing at the upper neck fold, to make the shape of that negative space less of a downward pointing triangle (that currently pulls the eye away from those wonderful eyes). |

I Don't THINK Soby levyj413Comment: Technically very good, subtle gradation of lighting, nice catchlights, red hair playing off the pinks of her top, focus on the eyes, and also an expression the evokes all kinds of potential stories. |

Winter Sunset at Cannon Beachby william88Comment: A classic subject and good capture of interesing reflections. Wish the rock masses could have just a little more definite separation from background. |

Smile For The Birdieby Marc923Comment: Nice portrait with good expression, absence of glasses glare, three dimensionality with side light, although dark side of face could use a little more light than that one somewhat bright spot. If repeated, consider eliminating the little triangle of background between the shirt and back of the chair (position, crop, clone?). |
