Definately parallel lines, but hard on the eyes. Reminds me of those emails that get sent around where you have to look really hard to see something in the image. Good composition and lighting. Well matched to the challenge. :-)

If the parallel lines in this shot are supposed to be in the floor, you should probably compose and expose this shot for that. In this case, the focus and title of the image is the cat, and although pretty, doesn't have anything to do with the challenge topic. The floor is out of focus and slightly overexposed where the sun hits it. The cat even appears to be slightly out of focus.

Don't like the background color, or the fabric of what she's sitting on. The feather cover is a complete contrast to the surroundings and does clash. This shot also seems a bit out of focus.
