Poor subject choice and composition. What might have helped this is to capture someone hanging from the hoop after slam dunking the shot.

Very nice detail here, good focus and use of dof. I like the composition as well. One could think the backside of the bird is on the back cover. :-)

This image seems a little soft, almost like you had a soft focus filter on it... Nice stop action of the ball and bat. I'd love to know how far away you were and what equipment you used for this one.
