The Burial of the Deadby 4trtoneComment: Clever, interesting and technically way beyond my skills, but does not scream 'art' to me. Still, has to have a good score because that is too subjective to criticise on. |

As the Ice Meltsby bobnospumComment: Beautiful capture, timing and composition. Not sure if it is noise near the top, or shimmering water but it definitely adds to the 'fine art' feel. |

Two Facesby whiterookComment: An unusual artefact and great use of the rule of thirds in composition, but let down for me by the surface, background and slightly dull lighting/ Perhaps recomposed in a darker situation with more directed lighting this could be an excellent subject! |

doggy.jpgby CoryComment: Aw, he's just a great big excited puppy. Next time you should give him a fuss.
What's the matter? Do you like your hands?! :o) |

Misty Morningby Yo_SpiffComment: Interesting - for me the composition comes across as more or less perfect rule of thirds with a strong point of focus on either side. Interesting that for others the point of focus is the copse in the centre.
Definitely an underrated shot, but given your recent success I can't imagine that you are too upset! :o)

Eroding Coastlineby mattfreComment: Nice shot - really crisp, moody and nicely composed. Don't let the DQ stop you getting the shots in, these things happen when you are learning the rules. Keep shooting - it looks like you have some great scenery to capture round there! |

The Puebloby desertoddityComment: I would be interested to know what PP you did on this (if any). The buildings at the bottom look slightly odd somehow.
But for me, the biggie is the wide, very bright strip of reddish cliff across the centre. It drags my eye away from your subject and straight across the middle of the picture, which is not where I want my eye to be (the pueblo). The top and bottom are both darker.
Just my thoughts - no intention to offend. And I didn't vote, since I did have a horse in this race which also didn't do great! |

I like them for breakfastby Yo_SpiffComment: Not quite sure how I filled your bingo card on this one, since my previous comment specifically states that I reckon you 'did meet challenge'... read again! You don't get to fill in your square on this one - sorry!! ;o) |
