great theme.. love the textures and the colors.. imo, needs a bit more dof in the dark blue region. Also, maybe pulling the paint brush back to include the tip of the brush in the dof around the light green and brown region would be nice as well. Otherwise I like it very much.

cute idea. needs better focus. having it centered with so much black around it is not a great impact. I think it would be more interesting off toward the lower left cormer,. or right.

I am eager to know how you did this. Guessing: under water and then changed the color by color selection or something similar. Makes for a dramatic image.
I think the feather was floating... ? ... you have me stumped a bit, and mezmerized. So,.. congrats!

what a magnificent macro! congratulations! this is a favorite out of many weeks of having none. The detail is extraordinary, and the composition very "O'Keefe", (in my realm of experience). the dramatic lighting on one side does a good job of putting some of the petals into slight shadow without losing them, and yet does not lose detail by being blown out. Great image! Great title! I can not say enough.

good eye for seeing this shape in an everyday object. the quality of the photo is suffering from maybe over processing to compensate for a photo that was dark originally? This would have scored high had it been sharp, clear, and undithered. :0(
But.. again.. great eye for framing and seeing something most would have missed!
