PBJby flahermaComment: I'm not sure what this tells me, random placement of subjects or there's a narrative?
Peanut is nuts for strawberry and jam?
Lacks narrative for me, doesn't particularly feel like any still life paintings I've seen? |

Classy Lunchby grahamgatorComment: Love a "Campbell" tin! It's such an iconic piece of packaging that you could've created a very simple still life just using that, had it been more "Warhol" it'd be alot more effective.
You made some effort with the set up, but it seems a bit odd to me. Could just be me, but I don't tend to have milk nor carckers with my soup (I have bread/crutons/cheese but each to their own). Unless the image speaks, of odd eating habits. It makes me think you, just wanted to fill up the frame with what you had.
There's alot happening but not saying anything. Less is more! |

A taste of Mexicoby NeatComment: Doesn't feel like, you created that still life. I also find the crop a bit odd ( hard to be be thoughtful of that, since you can't change it?) |

sweet toothby PennyStreetComment: Nice picture but I find it lacks real interest and attention to detail. I can see some brownies smudges on the lid. Could you have created an interesting pattern with the items or packaging? Could you have chose a more interesting packaging? |

The cupboard was bare except for spuds growing there.by glad2badadComment: Though one to feedback. I love the growth coming out of the spuds, makes it a very peculiar subject matter. I think, that on it's own, stacked weirdly and/or sculpturally, with a plain cloth would've been very effective! Very still life! Super interesting.
You took that away for me, with the choice of background colours and textures |

I saw red when I was shopping on Mondayby primabarbaraComment: Meets the challenge but lacks finesse for me. You started making an effort with the red cloth, then seemed to stop there.
I reckon this would've been more effective in an entire red background! |

vitaminsby TiberiusComment: Lacking drama or narrative for me. To improve, maybe re-think how your composition could add a point of interest? Do you think the background highlights are helping? |

Soup Stuffby DCrest01Comment: Meets the challenge, bit bonkers with the choice of subject (which I like!) didn't need the "Herb Ox" box in my opinion, unless you could clearly see the packaging. Interesting textures |
