Austinby karenkComment: Wee bit over-edited for my taste, the editing on the subject's face distracts me completely from his expression, which is a shame as you've obviously caught a great shot here. |

Forsakenby SeanachaiComment: Great expression, really good light and very effectively edited (it's so easy to go over the top with portraits. Super work. |

Darwin's Theory by onarComment: If only the man's head were a bit lower! Nice comic shot though. |

Without the ball they can't finish the game.by ladpupmoeComment: Nice use of desat, though having the red in the dog's right eye is a bit distracting and possibly something you could have avoided under advanced editing. If the dog were a bit more centered I think the image would work better as well. |

The space between themby onarComment: Technically this is a beautiful shot. In terms of the challenge the term dichotomy is not a concrete one and it's difficult to say whether or not a photo really meets the concept or not - here however I would suggest it's underexplored. The sunflower in the background is crystal clear - with the one in the foreground I think you either need to make the aperture tiny to bring it in focus or to make the fact it's out of focus a feature. Here it's stuck in between and it's not quite satisfying. But those colours... Wonderful. |
