Guarding over themby JaimeVinasComment: Beautiful lighting on the subject but the shot is let down by the background either side. If you had taken this from a lower perspective with just the sky in the background we would lose something of her expression but gain a superior composition overall. |

70 Beats Per Secondby GolferDDSComment: A superb capture and an unusual posture from the hummingbird. The background is nicely colourful but seems out of place in comparison with the bird. It's obvious you've used a flash here (I can't imagine you had much choice!) but I wonder whether under advanced editing you could have softened the rather harsh whiteness? |

Tattered & Torn by trevytrevComment: Wow. Very different to your standard dragonfly shot. There's something quite sad about seeing these wings in decay. If I have one criticism it's that the blue body seems a little too bright, perhaps this could have been toned down a bit? Overall I love the shot. |
