The Lotus at Tulip Hillby Blue MoonComment: A lovely subject, sensibly composed and with a well-chosen border. However this isn't going to score highly because the image is too dark and the subject not sharp enough. I'm spotting noise artefacts around the top of the petals as well. |

Womanby MAKComment: Well lit and an unusual choice of colour for your background. However if I'm being honest there doesn't seem to be anything interesting in her expression. I don't feel any sort of communication or empathy with the subject. It's all a subjective thing and others will probably think differently. |

Death of a Saguaroby FotoHunterComment: The top part of the sky is excellent, though perhaps a little dark. Below that it's all a bit too bright and some of the clouds look unnaturally burnt out. Having said all that I really like the shot and the clouds at the top are super. |

Dreaming of a Jungle Skyby GiloComment: The lighting is good here and the subject is a very interesting one. IMO a wee bit of USM could have done wonders here, and with these kind of shots it does help if the subject is looking into the camera. |
