Sweet use of vignetting! It really helps keep the eye centered on the subjects. The mood I get here is a little mixed between the burnt/destruction feeling of the background and the helping/loving aspects of the charactors.

Was the background really this dark and mysterious? Or...(wondering to myself)...did you use some dodge/burn to enhance the contrast and/or lighting? BB
